Description: Storytelling and
Interactive Presentation Travel with Baba
Kwasi on a magical journey in search of the oldest drum in the world somewhere
in the secret garden of happiness. The journey begins with "The Listeners Test"
as Baba gets everyone to move to the commands and beat of the drum. Then
the search for the oldest drum in the world only to find that it's the heart
which beats the rhythm of life.
This fun, educational and interactive
assembly presentation allows the children and staff to enjoy each other while
learning positive aspects of history, cultural exchange and the unifying
motivating power of sounds,
rhythms and vibrations of the drum. This is a presentation that will
enrich both students and staff.

instruments and rhythms from various countries in Africa

confirmed when you receive your contract by mail, fax, or email. Should
illness, inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the
program taking place as scheduled, Ayubu Kamau Kings & Queens will offer
the option of rescheduling or using a substitute artist. Programs
canceled by a school or community presenter after confirmation are
subject to full payment. A $25 rescheduling fee may be charged if a
schedule change is requested after a program has been confirmed.
